Review Policy
What our review labels mean
Reviews are useful only when their source is clear. True Clothing separates customer-submitted reviews from supplier-sourced reviews and does not label a review as a verified purchase unless the review submission can be matched to order evidence for that product.
Verified Purchase
The Verified Purchase badge is applied only when the review system finds matching purchase evidence for the same product using the reviewer's submitted email address. A customer review without a match can still be published after moderation, but it does not receive the badge.
Supplier-sourced reviews
Where legacy or supplier-provided product reviews are retained, they are labelled as supplier reviews and are never presented as True Clothing verified purchases. Supplier-sourced reviews do not contribute to the headline customer star rating.
Moderation
New customer reviews enter moderation before public display. Moderation is intended to remove spam, abusive content, personal information, obvious product mismatch and content that does not represent a genuine product-review contribution. Critical or negative reviews are not rejected simply for being negative.
Review integrity
True Clothing does not fabricate customer reviews or mark supplier reviews as verified purchases. Product ratings shown publicly are calculated from reviews approved for public display.
